“Truly a subject matter expert with a knack for making connections.”

I have had the pleasure to work with Michelle in several capacities during our time at Georgian College. I have always been impressed with her and sincerely hope we can continue to work together for years to come. She is professional, bright, talented, and really has her finger on the pulse of career development and trends. Most recently, Michelle provided a customized LinkedIn training program for Georgian College's Co-operative Education and Career Success team. The program included:

• Up-to-date information on how we can best advise our students who are using LinkedIn to develop their brand and optimize their job search
• Creative ideas and easy-to-use templates to develop a profile that markets our co-op programs
• Employer outreach/research strategies

Michelle shared her knowledge through various methods, including workshops, 1:1 coaching sessions, video tutorials, templates, etc. Our staff greatly benefited from this session and are continually using Michelle’s strategies both personally, and with Georgian College students. She is truly a subject matter expert with a knack for making connections to both material and audience.

“Concrete and practical advice my students could use immediately.”

Michelle regularly gave my students concrete and practical advice. She understands what employers are looking for, and she articulated clearly that applicants shouldn't just talk about what they have done—they need to tell employers what they can do for them, in the future. Students have followed up with Michelle to get personalized feedback after hearing and seeing her excellent presentation.
